For Sale -- What I believe is an Ariston Organette. It matches the picture on page 746 of Bower's encyclopedia book for No. 9. It has 24 reeds that appear all intact along with the flaps. The top hold down bar is missing as well as one of the corner moldings. It measures 16.25" x 16.25" x 9". The molding is in good shape and so is the finish. There is no stencil on the finish. I don't know if there ever was. I don't have a disc and could not play it without the hold down anyway. The innards all appear to be there. The crank is also there. Looks like a good restoration project. The center revolves when it is cranked. I'm asking $115 plus shipping and insurance. kend@lemur.org 410-544-0260

Barrel Piano measures 22" long by 12" wide and 23" high. The cart to transport it measures 49" long by 15" wide. Cart wheels are 19" diameter. The organ plays six tunes on the barrel which comes in its own box. The are "Boys Jota", "Why to Cry", "La Chiula Pardo", "Sinfonia Fox", "Rumba tropical" and "My Milk Cow. Marked "JJ Esselreich Manaubriet of Palma De Mallorca, Spain", but perhaps identical to a Vicente Llinares "Faventia". $1400 US. More photos are available by request.
